Dents CEO Deborah Moore would like to share her experiences from her recent trip to China – so get your suitcases packed, because we’re going to take you halfway around the world…
After a great time in Hong Kong, Deborah then travelled to Shanghai. One of the most exciting parts of the trip was when she visited the new Shanghai Tower, which only completed its construction last year.
At 632 metres, the tower is the second tallest building in the world, and is now a huge landmark in China. You can feel on top of the world looking out the observatory’s 360 degree view of Shanghai’s skyline on floor 118, and the experience is heightened even more by its elevator – the fastest in the world, with a maximum speed of 18m per second.
Deborah also visited The Bund, one of the most famous tourist attractions in central Shanghai. The waterfront’s promenade stretches over the length of one mile, and each step is filled with a fascinating history. The architecture surrounding The Bund is an interesting mix of Romanesque, Gothic and Renaissance Revival (to name but a few), and the views are simply stunning, both at day and night.
After a busy trip away, Deborah is now back at Dents HQ in Warminster, England – ready for a busy winter!
